Best New Website Nomination

We are very pleased to announce that our website has been shortlisted for the best new website award by Dentistry magazine. The site has taken a great deal of hard work and time, thus we are delighted with this nomination.

This also means that we have been shortlisted for two awards this year, the other being Best Young Dentist in London for Dr Nissit Patel. We believe our site is unique in the content and description of treatment and we are proud that all of the case photographs were taken by and treated by our Principal dentist, Dr Nissit Patel.

We aim to improve our site in 2011 with further links in the Patient area and the addition of new and exciting treatments, so watch this space!

How can you change the colour of a dark front tooth?

Now when a tooth needs a root canal treatment, this supply called the pulp is removed which can lead to the deposition of blood products within the tooth which is then absorbed by the tooth leading to a darker colour. On a back tooth, this may not have any major issue but on a front tooth is a different matter altogether!… CONTINUE READING

Teeth can be lost for various reasons such as tooth decay, trauma, failed root canal treatments or periodontal (gum) disease. The loss of teeth can have a significant impact on not only everyday function but aesthetics and general confidence when out and about. Replacing missing teeth is vital as this will restore function ( eating is important!) , improve aesthetics and prevent the adjacent and opposing teeth from moving into undesirable positions. The latter is a particular problem if the teeth are not re… CONTINUE READING
