Dental Implant To Replace a Missing Front Tooth

Missing a tooth is bad enough but a missing front tooth is just about the worse scenario. There can be a number of reasons why teeth are lost from trauma, infection, decay, pain and expired crowns or posts to name a few. However, with modern day implant dentistry, missing teeth can be replaced with predictability and minimal fuss, with a completely natural result. Our case study highlights a missing front tooth replaced with a dental implant and a porcelain crown. In fact, the new tooth looks even better than the previous one!

Missing tooth, front tooth missing A missing front tooth- is there anything worse?
Dental implant, new front tooth The tooth is replaced with a dental implant and porcelain crown- as good as new!

What's more, dental implants can never decay or need a root canal treatment! However, they must be looked after as well as your natural teeth if not better to avoid gum problems. Although the treatment time may exceed six months, the long term results are fantastic and it is well worth the time. The implant used for our case study was a Nobel Active implant. The implant was restored by Dr Nissit Patel, the laboratory work was completed by Andy Foster, Foster's Dental Lab. I am sure you will agree, a wonderful end result.
