We are delighted to announce that Dr Nissit Patel was a finalist for Practice Principal of the Year for London at this years Private Dentistry Awards 2023. The Private Dentistry Awards is held every year in December to showcase the very best in private dental care throughout the UK. To be nominated as a finalist is a great achievement and testament to the dedication of all of the staff at the practice; after all it is all about the team. 

There was also cause for a double celebration with November marking 14 years as Practice Principal for Dr Nissit Patel. In 2009 the practice was barely open with a dilapidated premises, run on paper and with a poor reputation within the local community. The changes could not be more drastic with improvements made every year. We now boast a modern, fully digital practice with the latest technology including both types of dental laser, CBCT scanner, 2 intra oral scanners, surgical microscope, surgical ultrasonic and much more. Our team consists of two dentists, four dental hygiene/therapists, an endodontist, specialist Maxillofacial Surgeon, facial aesthetics medical practitioner and of course, our amazing Practice Manager and assistants. 2020 is flying by and January has thankfully passed with slightly longer days ahead of us. Our case of the month for January involves a simple yet effective smile makeover using the Social 6 lingual brace to make one tooth more visible on smiling. Often we seen huge dental transformations where there is huge difference in the overall smile with multiple veneers, crowns and crazy white shades that resemble white goods rather than teeth! This is not our style. For those of you that read our blog, you will know that we strongly believe in minimally invasive dentistry that looks natural, highly aesthetic and lasts a long time. Our case involves one using the Social 6 lingual brace (one of our favourite treatments), to align one tooth and dramatically change the smile in just 3 months. One of our favourite techniques is the Social 6 lingual brace. This is a great technique for the cosmetic improvement of the front 4 upper or lower teeth. The brace is placed on the inside of the teeth, making this a truly INVISIBLE brace.The treatment times are often very quick, making this a short term treatment.
