Teeth Straightening Using A Ceramic Outside Brace

It is absolutely freezing outside and the snow is still falling. Beast from the East meets Storm Emma and chaos ensues. However, we at Progressive Dentistry plough on as normal helping you to achieve the smile of your dreams and maintain a healthy mouth. We love creating new smiles that transform your outlook, give you greater confidence, radiate warmth no matter how cold outside! Our case study involves teeth straightening using a ceramic outside brace, followed by tooth whitening and composite bonding. A great technique that is non-invasive, involves NO drilling, NO needles, NO pain and is affordable! Please have a look at how we completed the case:

Teeth have been straightened using a ceramic tooth coloured brace. Just note how the back teeth are now visible. However, the teeth are uneven at the front due to tooth wear. The teeth have been whitened using the Philips ZOOM LED in surgery whitening.
Teeth are now even with cosmetic bonding; natural and life like. A lovely smile.

Our patient was delighted and has made a huge difference to her. Some of you may wonder about the triangle of space between the front teeth. This often occurs when front teeth need to rotate. However, the gum line often fills in over the following months. We will post a photograph to compare! Treatment completed by Dr Nissit Patel using Damon clear, Philips ZOOM LED whitening and G-aenial for cosmetic bonding. Photographs may NOT be copied for any reason with out permission.

Composite can also be used to replace old fillings on front ( or back) teeth. The great advantage of bonding includes:1. Treatment is completed in one visit; an instant smile transformation! 2. Min… CONTINUE READING

Social 6 lingual brace, whitening and bonding. The truly invisible brace

One of our favourite treatments for cosmetic teeth straightening is the Social 6 lingual brace. This brace is the truly invisible brace as it is placed on the inside of the teeth. Even though lingual braces have been around for many decades, there is little awareness of the system as the treatment in the past has been kept within the realm of specialist orthodontists and the costs have been incredibly high compared to conventional braces. Now for complex cases, lingual brace treatment is an extremely diffic… CONTINUE READING

Closing Gaps With Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a well know and popular technique that we have been using for over 15 years. The process is generally minimally invasive, requires very little tooth preparation, no needles or anaesthetic and is more affordable than other cosmetic dental options such as porcelain veneers. The procedure can be used for a number of treatments including closing spaces between teeth especially front teeth.… CONTINUE READING
