Transform Your Smile Using ABC

Our case of the month for August is a fantastic one involving ABC. To remind you: A is for Alignment, B is for bleaching and C is for cosmetic bonding. This is the NON INVASIVE smile makeover, a treatment suitable for all. In the old days of cosmetic dentistry, teeth would be cut heavily for porcelain veneers to provide a new smile. No longer! We can transform your smile with 3 simple steps: ABC Our case involved a ceramic brace, teeth whitening and composite bonding to enhance the smile. Don't take our words for it, see for yourself:

Crooked teeth, discoloured teeth
Crooked front teeth, uneven and discoloured
Straight teeth, invisible braces, ceramic brace, teeth whitening
Straight, white, even teeth in a matter of months!

The teeth were straightened using a ceramic brace on the outside of the teeth. These braces are discreet and work superbly. Although not 'invisible', they are the next best thing and have major advantages over other techniques. After the teeth were lined up, they were whitened using customised trays and Philips Zoom Daywhite gel. Only 10-14 days is required to achieve a major difference and a brighter smile. Cosmetic bonding was then carried out on the edges of the teeth to provide symmetry. This was done using the GC composite G-aenial IE enamel shade. This is a wonderful composite that mimics natural tooth, as you can see. The entire care required NO drilling, NO needles, NO pain and NO destruction of healthy tooth enamel. What's the catch? None. A new smile can be yours with this very technique. Call us today to find out more.

Composite Bonding vs. Porcelain Veneers: Which is Right for Your Smile?

To answer this question, we really need to differentiate the two treatments as they are two different treatment entirely. Composite bonding is an additive process. In simple terms, we carefully sculpt composite resin over the teeth in question. This can be used to treat chipped, fractured, uneven and gappy teeth. Composite can also be used to replace old fillings on front ( or back) teeth. The great advantage of bonding includes:1. Treatment is completed in one visit; an instant smile transformation! 2. Min… CONTINUE READING

Social 6 lingual brace, whitening and bonding. The truly invisible brace

One of our favourite treatments for cosmetic teeth straightening is the Social 6 lingual brace. This brace is the truly invisible brace as it is placed on the inside of the teeth. Even though lingual braces have been around for many decades, there is little awareness of the system as the treatment in the past has been kept within the realm of specialist orthodontists and the costs have been incredibly high compared to conventional braces. Now for complex cases, lingual brace treatment is an extremely diffic… CONTINUE READING

Closing Gaps With Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a well know and popular technique that we have been using for over 15 years. The process is generally minimally invasive, requires very little tooth preparation, no needles or anaesthetic and is more affordable than other cosmetic dental options such as porcelain veneers. The procedure can be used for a number of treatments including closing spaces between teeth especially front teeth.… CONTINUE READING

Composite Bonding On The Upper Front Teeth

Our case of the month for June 2023 involves composite cosmetic bonding on the upper front teeth. Composite bonding is a minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatment which can improve the aesthetics of a tooth or teeth. In most cases, we do not need to remove any healthy tooth structure with the composite being layered upon the tooth. With the advent of modern day dental materials, we are able to create stunning smiles with bonding in just one appointment.… CONTINUE READING
