We will be closed on Friday and Saturday 27th/28th May for a very special reason- we will be attending the wedding of Jenny our excellent hygienist and therapist. Jenny has been with us for over six years and proven to be an invaluable asset to the practice. Her attention to detail is second to none and she is known for her gentle and caring manner. Many of our clients comment on how their past hygiene treatments were painful and sore; not with Jenny. Congratulations Jenny, we all wish you the very best in your married life.

We would like to think we are one of London's best cosmetic and general dentists. Our ethos is minimally invasive, kind dentistry that promotes healing and is biocompatible with the human body. The the past, cosmetic dentistry meant one thing- the Hollywood smile and cutting down teeth for super white veneers. Those days have past thankfully. Modern day dental care means that we can transform a smile without cutting, drilling, needles and any pain. What's more, these techniques are far less costly. No brainer! Just take a look at a prime example:

Our case of the month for May is a cosmetic bonding case which transformed the smile of our patient in just one 60 minute appointment.

There are literally hundreds of dentists in London and choosing the best dentist in London for you can be a daunting task. We have 5 key factors which will help you to make the decision:

1. Credentials: It is important to look for experience, post graduate qualifications and continuing education. Dentistry is an ever changing profession with major differences between basic and advanced dental care. Make sure your dentist is properly trained and well thought of in the profession.
2. Case studies: Ask to see case photographs of similar treatments and even ask to speak to some of the patients. Although dentists cannot relay patient information, happy clients will to keen to share their experiences with others.
3. Reviews: Look for reviews on sites such as Google . These require verification and are hard to falsify.
4. Technology: The best dentists in London and the UK will have invested in the very best technology and materials. This could be from simple composite filling material to digital x rays to the most sophisticated dental lasers.
5. Getting on with the team: It is important to get on with your dentist and the entire staff. After all, dentistry is a team affair and communication is often the key to a successful long term relationship.

At Progressive Dentistry, we believe that we offer the very best dental care available in London and the UK. Don't just take out word for it, look out for our reviews, awards, professional credentials and qualifications and view our Case of the Month series.

Dental implants are the best way to replace missing teeth- even ones that were lost many years ago. In the future, we may be able to grow new teeth but for now implants are the solution. Our case study involves teeth that were taken out a few years ago and replaced with implants:

Would you like straight teeth for the summer? Would you like the braces hidden from view? Are you after cosmetic improvement? If the answers are yes to the above, we can help. Just take a look at our case below to show how invisible braces can straighten your teeth within a few months.

Our case of the month for March involves a full transformation of the entire mouth. The treatment involved planning using Insignia. What is Insignia? Well, this is a fantastic software platform that allows us to plan the best possible teeth positions for each case in very fine detail. We can then produce dental braces which are bespoke for your teeth including the orthodontic wires and a treatment plan which is finely tuned to produce the best end result in the quickest time frame. Our case shows how beautifully Insignia can work and what a difference the treatment can have. Just take a look at the before and after photographs; you will be amazed!
