Our case of the month for September is a classic cosmetic bonding case. For those of you that do not know about cosmetic bonding, it is a great technique to enhance a tooth with a completely NON-INVASIVE approach. Teeth can be lengthened, widened, repaired, made symmetrical and gaps closed with this wonderful technique. In virtually all cases, there is NO need for any drilling, any anaesthetic (no needles!) and no unnecessary removal of healthy tooth enamel. Our case shows a typical scenario where a tooth is worn and chipped. The procedure took just 45 minutes and just look at the difference.

Our case of the month for June involves dental implants and ceramic crowns. Dental implants are without question, the very best option to replace teeth. Whether you are missing one tooth, several teeth or all of your teeth, dental implants should be considered as the first line option. In the past, replacing teeth with implants was a long, drawn out procedure and costly too. However, with the advances in modern dentistry and techniques, the treatment can be delivered quickly, with minimum fuss and is affordable. Our case of the month for May 2013 is a combination case of orthodontics using Invisalign clear removable braces, dental implants, ceramic crowns and cosmetic bonding. Due to quite severe tooth wear due to grinding at night and general issues with the condition of her teeth, our patient sought treatment that was designed to treat all the major considerations but with a minimal emphasis. Initially Invisalign was used to straighten the teeth and place them in the optimal position for the planned dental implant. After this, all ceramic crowns were placed on badly damaged teeth and composite bonding was done on chipped front teeth. Overall, a fantastic result and a delighted patient. Our case of the month for April is a wonderful cosmetic dental treatment involving front teeth. The treatment is called composite bonding. This is essentially a treatment to enhance the appearance of the teeth by naturally replacing lost tooth enamel and dentine using the most aesthetic dental materials available.

Our case of the month for March involves straightening lower crowded teeth using invisible lingual braces. As we get older, our lower teeth tend to become more uneven and crooked. This can impact on dental hygiene, affect the bite and of course look unsightly!

However, there is a solution. Invisible braces placed behind the teeth are an excellent way of correcting such misaligned teeth. There is no need for the dreaded train tracks that can be seen a mile away. Lingual braces are placed on the INSIDE of the teeth and therefore no one will ever know you having your teeth straightened! Teeth whitening was also carried out and the difference is simply amazing. Our case demonstrates just this:

Our case of the month for February is a wonderful cosmetic dental transformation using invisible braces called lingual braces to straighten crooked teeth. These are braces fitted to the inside of the teeth so they are the truly invisible brace. Being placed on the inside of the teeth, they act down the long axis of the tooth meaning that teeth straightening can also be very quick. Straight teeth fast! What more could you ask for? Our client came to us seeking a new smile due to crooked upper front teeth, which had been bothering her for many years. Due to the fact that we provide a truly invisible braces, which are completely hidden from anyone else, other treatment options such as porcelain veneers were ruled out.
 

Our case of the month for January 2013 is a wonderful smile transformation using an invisible brace. Initially our patient came to very upset about her smile. She hated one tooth in particular, which is very evident from the photographs. We transformed the smile with a lingual brace, the only truly invisible brace. Our case of the month for December involves one of our favourite techniques- ABC. Our patient came to us complaining of yellow, crooked teeth that were too short and uneven. She did not want drastic dentistry where the teeth are cut or damaged in any way. Dr Nissit Patel had the perfect solution- ABC. A is for alignment.
