Social 6 Braces Case Studies

The best way to understand a treatment is by seeing the results that have been achieved. This way, you can visualise what the treatment could do for you and the enormous benefits available.

Social 6 braces have a number of benefits. The main one is that the technique is totally invisible. No one will know you are wearing a dental brace and straightening your front teeth. The treatment can also be very quick which is an obvious benefit.

Below are some before and after photographs of social 6 braces.

Social 6 Braces

Social 6 braces are the truly invisible cosmetic brace. They are attached to the inside of the teeth so hidden from view. They are ideal for mild to moderate crowding and minor spaces, making the technique a truly cosmetic one.

If you are concerned about crooked front teeth, which may be due to overlapping, teeth sticking out, teeth going inwards or small spaces then social 6 braces may be the ideal solution for you. One of the common reasons for these issues, is relapse after braces many years ago.

Did you know that once teeth have been straightened, they must be retained for life? If not, they will slowly drift and come out of alignment. We will advise you on retention and how to keep your teeth straight for life.

Did you also know that social 6 braces are also called lingual braces? This is because lingual means towards the tongue. Being on the inside of the teeth, this is the perfect description. To help you adapt to lingual braces, we can provide a comfort guard which can sit over the teeth and brace and prevent irritation of the tongue. This can be vital during the first few weeks of social 6 braces and will help you adapt to the brace in extra quick time.

Also did you know that Kate Middleton had lingual braces for the Royal Wedding? No, well that's because they are totally invisible! You do not have to be royalty to have social 6 braces.

Please contact us and we will arrange an initial consultation to assess suitability.

Why wait, transform your smile with social 6 braces today!

Bridging The Gap

Missing teeth can be an embarrassing and unsightly issue, especially at the front of the mouth. There are a number of options to replacing the space including a dental bridge.

A bridge is where the adajcent teeth are used to anchor the missing tooth. This may be an excellent option if the adjacent teeth require treatment with dental crowns to protect them or already have successful crowns which could be converted to a bridge.

The following case study demonstrates this exact scenario. A front tooth was lost due to gum disease which left a major cosmetic issue. After careful planning, a dental bridge was provided as an ideal solution to a tricky problem. Below are the before and after photographs.

Tooth Decay On The Rise In Fulham

A report has revealed that nearly half of five year olds in Fulham and Hammersmith have tooth decay. The report, which was released by the Children's Oral Health Task Group, showed that 45 percent of five year olds in the borough have decay, a figure which is significantly higher than the London average, which currently stands at 33 percent. Nadeev Pooni, from the Central London NHS Trust, said that it is very important that parents take responsibility for their children's oral health and encourage them to adopt good habits from a very early age.

The Children's Oral Health Taskforce is a new group, which was formed with the aim of identifying and addressing causes of poor oral health. The report made a number of recommendations to try and improve standards of oral health among children, which included campaigning for a consultation on adding fluoride to the water supplies in the area. The most important method of prevention is to ensure regular dental examinations and hygiene treatment. Diet is also crucial and try to avoid sugary snacks and drinks during the day. It is best to keep these treats at mealtimes only. Children of registered parents are seen for an initial consultation free of charge.

We provide only the best treatment and materials for children. We do not use amalgam metal fillings and have a very strong emphasis on prevention of disease.
